PRECAUTIONS
- Patch Test: Before first use, perform a patch test on a small area of your inner arm or behind the ear. Wait 24 hours to check for any adverse reaction (redness, itching, bumps).
- Eye Area Care: While effective at removing eye makeup, avoid getting the product directly into your eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of cool water. The emulsifying action can cause temporary blurriness.
- Sensitivity Alert: This product contains a complex blend of essential oils (Sandalwood, Lavender, etc.) and Fragrance (Parfum). Individuals with very sensitive skin, known allergies to perfumes, or specific botanical allergies might exercise caution.
- Keep Dry: Ensure your hands and face are dry before scooping the product. Introducing water into the jar can breed bacteria and degrade the balm's texture.
- Discontinue Use: If any signs of irritation, rash, or discomfort occur, stop using the product immediately.
- External Use Only: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent the balm from melting or becoming overly soft.
HOW TO APPLY
For optimal makeup removal and a clean, nourished feel, follow these steps:
Step 1: Start Dry
- Ensure your hands and face are completely dry (no water).
- Scoop a small amount (about a 1-2cm dime-sized portion) of the balm with the provided spatula or clean, dry fingers.
Step 2: Melt & Massage
- Gently rub the balm between your dry palms to warm and soften it.
- Apply it directly to your dry face and neck using gentle, circular motions with your fingertips. Massage thoroughly for 30-60 seconds. This allows the oils and esters to effectively dissolve all makeup, sunscreen, and sebum. You will feel the product transforming from a balm into a silky oil.
Step 3: Emulsify & Rinse
This is the key step for a residue-free finish. Wet your hands with a small amount of lukewarm water.
- Continue massaging your face. You will see the oil turn into a milky-white emulsion.
- Once fully emulsified, thoroughly rinse your face with lukewarm water until all product is washed away.
Step 4: Follow Up (Recommended for a Double Cleanse)
- For a truly deep cleanse, especially if you wear heavy makeup or sunscreen, it is recommended to follow with a water-based cleanser (gel, foam, or cream).
- This two-step process (oil balm first, then water-based cleanser) ensures all residue is removed, leaving skin perfectly clean, balanced, and ready for the next steps in your skincare routine.
- Frequency: Use as the first step in your evening cleansing routine, or as needed to remove makeup. It is typically not necessary for a morning cleanse.
